TVP Steel received the Government Emulation Flag 2017

On the afternoon of October 12, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province held a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can and nearly 500 enterprises and businessmen operating in the province attended.

Ms. Ninh Thi Bich Thuy, representative of Long An Province Business Association, spoke.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Tran Van Can emphasized: “2018 is the “pivotal” year of the 2016 - 2020 period, we have gone through 3/4 of the journey of 2018 and half of the implementation period of the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan of Long An province, period 2016 - 2020. Thanks to the solidarity, efforts and determination of the entire political system and people of the province, the socio-economic situation of the province continues to change positively, achieving comprehensive results in all fields. Most of the socio-economic indicators have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. With these important results, enterprises and entrepreneurs are always the pioneering force, leading in economic development, contributing to the transformation of the province's economic structure towards industrialization and modernization”. At the meeting, delegates were informed about the socio-economic development situation of the province in recent times. Accordingly, the economic growth rate in the period of 2016 - 2017 reached an average of 9.29%, in the first 6 months of 2018 it reached 10.96%. This shows that the provincial economy has maintained a good growth momentum, people's lives are increasingly improved, the average GRDP per capita in 2018 is estimated at 68 million VND/person/year.

In the first 9 months of 2018, Long An had 1,085 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of 15,424 billion VND, an increase of 7.1% in the number of enterprises and 23.1% in the registered capital over the same period. Up to now, there are 11,589 enterprises in operation in the province with a total registered capital of 267,778 billion VND. Trade and service activities have gradually developed stably, increasingly meeting development requirements. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue, exports have grown quite high.

In the face of the results of the socio-economic situation, most business people expressed joy and excitement.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh, by order, awarded the Emulation Flag to the leaders of TVP Steel Joint Stock Company for their good performance in emulation movements in 2017.

On this occasion, TVP Steel Joint Stock Company (Ben Luc town) received the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister for its good performance in emulation movements in 2017./.
