Provincial Party Secretary and People’s Council Chairman Nguyễn Văn Được Visits and Sends Tet Greetings

On the morning of February 19, Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council – Nguyễn Văn Được, along with Standing Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Nguyễn Minh Lâm, representatives from the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Office of the People’s Committee, and leaders of provincial departments and Bến Lức district, visited TVP Steel Joint Stock Company and Phuc Long Industrial Park to extend Lunar New Year wishes for the Year of the Dragon 2024.

During the working session with the Secretary, representatives from TVP Steel reported in detail on the company’s production and business activities in 2023, and also presented challenges and issues currently faced by the company.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Được praised the efforts of enterprises over the past year, highlighting their positive results amid a challenging economic environment. He emphasized that these achievements not only benefit the companies themselves but also contribute significantly to the overall development of the province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Được extended his warmest Lunar New Year greetings to all officials, employees, and workers at the company. He encouraged the enterprise to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation, self-reliance, and resilience. He called for creating a strong working atmosphere right after the Tet holiday to achieve the production and business targets for the year.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Được also reaffirmed the province’s commitment to providing the most favorable conditions for businesses within legal frameworks. He directed the People’s Committee to lead departments and localities in proactively coordinating and promptly addressing the difficulties and proposals of enterprises. For issues beyond provincial authority, the province will compile and submit recommendations to central ministries and the government for appropriate solutions based on the practical situation.

During the visit, TVP Steel’s leadership expressed their honor in receiving attention and Lunar New Year wishes from the provincial leaders. They shared that the visit serves as a great encouragement for the company to successfully fulfill its production and business goals and continue contributing to local development.
