On January 27, 2024, a meeting between representatives of the Long An Business Association (HHDN) and the Okayama Industrial Association – Japan took place at Phuc Long Industrial Park. This event provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen connectivity and cooperation between Long An Province and Okayama Prefecture, as part of the broader Vietnam–Japan relationship.

The event began with an open and sincere discussion focusing on various aspects of business cooperation. Mrs. Ninh Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice President of the Long An Business Association, General Director of TVP Steel Joint Stock Company, and Chairwoman of Phuc Long Industrial Park, shared insights into the potential and mutual benefits of industrial collaboration.

Following the discussion, the delegation had a chance to visit Phuc Long Industrial Park and the TVP Steel manufacturing facility. Designed with modern infrastructure and managed professionally, Phuc Long IP is emerging as a destination for foreign investment, boasting 100% occupancy in Phase 1 and preparing to welcome new investors in Phase 2, which spans 340 hectares. The TVP Steel factory, invested by TVP Steel JSC, is equipped with advanced European technology and machinery, capable of meeting market demand with high-quality steel products.

This meeting not only opened up new commercial cooperation opportunities but also fostered the sharing of technology and experience, laying the foundation for joint innovative solutions. Moreover, the event marked a significant step in reinforcing economic and investment ties between Vietnam and Japan.
